Re-founded in 2017, the Wharton SoCal C-Circle Group is among the club’s most successful. It meets bi-monthly, on the 4th Wednesday of even-numbered months. Meetings generally rotate among members’ offices, usually in West LA, and begin at 6:30 pm with a catered dinner. Members also have access to the private Wharton So-Cal email list to share ideas and developments between meetings. The group currently has approximately 15 members, of whom 8-12 attend any given meeting. It is led on a volunteer basis by Nicholas Benedict (chair) and Harry Langenberg.
Recent topics have included “Recruiting Talents in a Hot Job Market,” “Strategic Planning in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”, and “Executive Compensation Structure”
Who C-Circle Targets
Entry is limited to those who have held C-Suite positions (or their equivalent) in the past two years in organizations with at least $2MM in annual revenue, and who support the mission and values of the C-Circle organization - to share and discuss ideas, learnings, and get outside perspectives in a safe and private group. There are no dues to join the organization, but regular ongoing contribution is expected. All C-Circle members must be paid members of Wharton SoCal. This is not an organization for business development, executives in transition, or early stage entrepreneurs.
