Joseph is an entrepreneur and investor harnessing the power of innovation to make people's lives better.  He is Co-Founder and Chair of as well as a founding investor of Blue Apron and Joe led a successful effort to get California to launch an Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) in 2015.  He later founded CalEITC4Me, which is a statewide organizing program that ensures working families get their Earned Income Tax Credits.  Each year, CalEITC4Me helps over 400,000 families get $1 billion of federal and state EITC.  He also serves on the boards of the Sierra Club Foundation and UC Riverside’s School of Public Policy.
